The Bio-Med Devices 2001F Oxygen Blender 2001F is designed with a 50 psi DISS oxygen fitting positioned at the bottom port, coupled with a 0-15 lpm flow meter in close proximity to an integrated bleed control switch. This configuration facilitates increased flow utilization from the bottom port. When the 12 lpm bleed flow is not required, it can be deactivated by turning the flow meter forward. Subsequently, when flows below 15 lpm are necessary and the flow meter is returned to the upright position, the bleed flow is automatically activated. If this functionality is only necessary for flows of 15 lpm or less, it is recommended to consider the Low Flow model.
